Testimonial:

Earning the emphasis in Applied Linguistics played a decisive role in helping me get my current position as an Assistant Professor of Medical Education. The fact that I could bring to the table theoretical and practical knowledge about how second languages are effectively taught and learned made me stand out from other candidates. My expertise impressed my colleagues who later named me the Director of the Medical Spanish program. (Alexandra López-Vera, 2022)
